Levo 4 Range Extender
Just can't get enough? Plug in the Range Extender and keep going. The 3.1 Range Extender seamlessly pairs with the Levo 4 full power system — just slide it into your bottle cage, plug it in, and boost your ride with 280Wh of extra range. That's up to 90 more minutes on the trail, depending on your power usage, weight, and terrain.
- 280Wh Extra Capacity: Adds up to 90 minutes of ride time — more trail, less charging.
- Bottle Cage Mount: Twist-lock into the Levo 4 bottle cage — secure, accessible.
- IP67 Waterproof: Passes IP67 "waterproof" standards — ride in any weather.
- Seamless Integration: Pairs with the Levo 4 full power system automatically.
- Simple Setup: Slide in, plug in, ride on.
Cable sold separately — don't forget to grab one. The range extender needs a cable to connect to the Levo 4 system, so make sure you have the correct cable for your setup.
Up to 90 More Minutes — Variables Matter
Specialized says "up to 90 more minutes" — this is a best-case estimate. Actual additional range depends on your power output, rider weight, terrain, assist level, and trail conditions. Heavier riders on steep terrain running high assist will see fewer additional minutes. Lighter riders on rolling terrain at lower assist levels will see more. The 280Wh is real capacity, but how far it takes you varies.
Why a Bottle Cage Mount?
Mounting the range extender in a bottle cage is elegant — it keeps the weight low and centered on the frame, it uses existing infrastructure (the bottle cage), and it's easily accessible. You can swap it out for a water bottle on shorter rides. The twist-lock mechanism keeps it secure even on rough trails.
IP67 — What It Means
IP67 means the range extender is dust-tight and can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes without damage. For an e-bike component, this means you can ride in heavy rain, stream crossings, and dusty trails without worry. It's one of the most durable battery ratings available for e-MTB components.
