- LARGE FLANGE DESIGN: Large flange rivets offer a wider bearing surface and are preferred where brittle or soft materials are being assembled to rigid surfaces.
- LOW CARBON STEEL CONSTRUCTION: Made of grade 305 stainless steel which provides excellent corrosion resistance. Stainless steel pop rivets should be used when fastening materials of similar mechanical and physical properties.
- STAINLESS STEEL MANDREL FOR ENHANCED PERFOMANCE: The mandrel is pulled into or against the rivet body, breaking clean at the upset end. This process ensures maximum shear, tensile, and break load strength, making them dependable for heavy duty pop rivet installations.
- SELF-CONTAINED MECHANICAL FEATURE: A stainless steel blind rivet with a built-in mandrel feature that expands the rivet shank during press setting, forming a secure upset on the blind side for reliable assembly of sheet metal and aluminum parts.
- GOOD PERFORMANCE IN ASSEMBLY CONNECTIONS: Fastenere open end blind pop rivets meet SAE J-1200 specifications for blind rivets. Suitable for use with hand tools, manual kits, or pneumatic rivet guns when joining component parts in metal or aluminum assemblies
